An endless debate: What was the real date of Billy Joel's performance at Mar y Sol?

Larry Russell (bass player) assures they played on Sunday 2nd. However both the bootleg and a New York Times review state they played on Saturday April 1st. Here's is my latest proof of my personal theory on why they did play the on the first day, Saturday 04-01-72. Compare the following 2 images:

In this New York Times review not only does it say Billy Joel played on Saturday, it also mentions other artists that played that same day. One of them being Dave Brubeck. Now look at the following photo:

Billy is probably scratching his head, wondering why Dave decided to "stay an extra day at the festival".
